All races will be communicated via the club captains. They will be issued sign up codes as events will be hidden from public view.
Individual Time Trial (iTT) will be the most common event with hourly slots given for students to finish in the fastest times. Draft will be turned off in these events, and times will be collated from across a week period and points awarded. These races will be open to all students at every institution and it is hoped that a new route and leader board will be available each week.
In time, team races will be set up once we know how many bikes or trainers it’s realistic for each institution to have access to. This will be discussed and planned once teams have signed up, hopefully no later than Jan 2025.
Challenge Ladder races will see even teams from 2 institutions go head to head with points available for finish positions and segments.
Team Time Trial (TTT) events can be set up, again with hourly slots so institutions can choose the best times for them.
Scratch, Points, Elimination races could be organised with mass institution entries with finishers accumulating points for their institution.
